Wall components are posts, panels and caps for wall. Installation requires minimal equipment.  Small installations can be done with only hand tool. For larger installations only a Bobcat with auger and fork attachments is sufficient. Walls over 6-foot height require a lift to slide panels and install caps. Experienced installers use a platform on the Bobcat fork to slide panels and install caps on 7-foot and 8-foot walls.

Non-standard changes in wall line can be accomplished by beveling the post slot with a diamond saw. Detail guidelines are available from Stonehenge West for new installers or owner installation.

Post foundations are minimum 24 inches deep and 12 inches diameter for 6-foot height wall. Greater bury depth and/or larger diameter post hole may be needed for higher walls, soft, sandy or moist soils, high wind exposure areas and ground sloping away from line of wall.
